THDC Declares Commercial Operation of Unit II at Khurja Super Thermal Power Project
New Delhi, September 24, 2025 – THDC India Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC, has officially declared the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for Unit II (660 MW) of the Khurja Super Thermal Power Project (STPP), effective 0000 hours on September 26, 2025.
With this addition, THDC’s total installed and commercial capacity now stands at 3,407 MW, while the NTPC Group’s cumulative capacity has reached 83,696 MW, strengthening its position as India’s leading power producer.
Regulatory Filing Details
The disclosure was made in line with SEBI Regulation 30 and Regulation 51(1), Part B of Schedule III, ensuring timely intimation to stock exchanges (NSE and BSE) under NTPC’s scrip codes.
