Vedanta Limited’s financial results declared on April 30, 2025

Financial Performance (Consolidated) – FY25 vs FY24 Revenue from operations: ₹1,52,968 Cr (up from ₹1,43,727 Cr) EBITDA: ₹43,541 Cr (up from ₹36,455 Cr) Net Profit (after tax): ₹20,535 Cr (up from ₹7,539 Cr) Earnings Per Share (Basic): ₹38.97 (up from ₹11.42) 🔷 Segment-Wise Highlights Aluminium Segment: Highest revenue at ₹58,522 Cr Oil & Gas: Revenue decreased to ₹11,044 Cr (from ₹17,837 Cr) Zinc, Lead & Silver: India business contributed ₹32,903 Cr Vedanta had a very strong year financially, especially in terms of profit growth, margin improvement, and balance sheet management. But a substantial part of the profit growth came from exceptional items, and the core Oil & Gas business is showing weakness. The upcoming demerger adds uncertainty. Investors should watch execution closely in FY26.
