Wipro Partners with Factory to Accelerate Agent-Native Software Development Using AI

Wipro Limited has announced a strategic partnership with Factory, an emerging agent-native software development platform, to help enterprises globally accelerate AI-led software engineering at scale. Along with the partnership, Wipro Ventures has also participated in Factory’s recent funding round, strengthening Wipro’s strategic alignment with next-generation AI platforms. Factory enables software development teams to delegate large parts of the coding lifecycle to AI agents, known as “Droids”, covering activities such as feature development, testing, migrations, and refactoring. This agent-native approach allows enterprises to improve productivity and speed while maintaining engineering quality and architectural consistency. As part of the collaboration, Wipro will integrate Factory’s capabilities into its WEGA agent-native delivery platform, further enhancing Wipro Intelligence™, the company’s unified AI-powered platform suite. The solution will be rolled out across tens of thousands of Wipro engineers, enabling faster creation of production-ready code and shorter innovation cycles for clients. Wipro plans to offer Factory-enabled solutions across key industries including banking and financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and technology. Management highlighted that the partnership reflects a broader shift among global enterprises from AI experimentation toward production-scale AI adoption.
