ASHOKA
has secured a ₹602.16 crore order from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) for electro-mechanical works in four railway tunnels under Uttarakhand’s Rishikesh-Karnprayag new rail line project. The project is expected to be completed within 30 months and strengthens Ashoka Buildcon’s presence in the railway infrastructure segment. The order also provides incremental visibility to its already strong order book. As of June 2026, the company’s order book stood at ₹15,251 crore, offering a healthy revenue pipeline. However, near-term financial performance remained weak, with Q1 FY27 revenue declining 21% YoY to ₹1,500 crore, while net profit fell 41% YoY to ₹127 crore. The new order is positive for long-term execution visibility, although recovery in financial performance remains important.#WatchOutFor#StockInNews#EquityResearch#FundamentalViews
