$BHEL signs a contract with Dangote Petroleum Refinery in Nigeria worth up to Rs. 2,500 crore. The contract involves the design, manufacturing, and supply of 8 gas turbine generator packages for a petroleum refinery and polypropylene plant. BHEL will also supervise the erection and commissioning of the packages. Company also received a Limited Notice to Proceed from Damodar Valley Corporation for the 1,800 MW supercritical thermal power station at Durgapur, West Bengal, with an estimated preliminary order of ₹90 Cr. The full contract is expected to be awarded within ten months.
