The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved

acquisition of a nearly 59% stake in commercial vehicle maker SML Isuzu for Rs 555 crore. Mahindra & Mahindra will acquire stakes from Sumitomo Corporation and Isuzu Motors, followed by an open offer. This acquisition aligns with Mahindra's strategy to invest in high-growth potential areas.
