COALINDIA

(CIL) is in focus after receiving a Letter of Award (LoA) from GRIDCO Limited, Odisha, for a ₹400 crore Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. The 320 MWh project, comprising 80 MW × 4 hours, will be established across two Odisha clusters within 18 months, marking CIL's strategic expansion beyond coal into green energy.
