bags Rs 511 crore deal to acquire ISRO’s SSLV rocket tech

Per the agreement,

will independently build, own, and operate small satellite launch vehicle (SSLV) rockets, with ISRO providing training and handholding for two missions over the next two years. HAL plans to produce between six and eight SSLV rockets annually, based on demand, with each launch expected to generate approximately $6.5 million in revenue.
