to invest Rs 1,000 crore in Jio Finance

announced on Thursday that it has invested Rs 1,000 crore in Jio Finance, its wholly owned subsidiary. The investment was made through the subscription of 1,73,77,412 equity shares at Rs 10 each. The funds will be used by Jio Finance to support its business operations.
