to acquire majority stake in SML Isuzu for over Rs 550 crore

is set to acquire a majority stake in commercial vehicle maker SML Isuzu Limited (SML). M&M will purchase shares from Sumitomo Corporation and Isuzu Motors Ltd for a total of Rs 554.65 crore. This acquisition aims to bolster M&M's presence in the >3.5T CV segment, targeting a significant increase in market share by FY36.
