approved a Rs 250 crore ($27.5 million) commitment to B8 Fund I, a category II alternative investment fund, to back growth-stage technology ventures in India or businesses primarily focused on India. The fund will be managed by Info Edge subsidiary Smartweb Internet Services Ltd, with no interest held by promoters or promoter groups.
