Board approved a ₹5,821.90 crore investment for 4.70 GWh Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Additionally, it committed ₹3,173.67 crore in equity for the Meja Thermal Power Project Stage-II (2,400 MW) through its joint venture, MUNPL, bringing its total commitment to ₹5,000 crore.
