purchased 2 million barrels of Venezuelan oil from Vitol. This is their first purchase from Venezuela in nearly a year, acquired at a discount of $6.5-$7 per barrel below ICE Brent. The purchase comes after US licenses were granted to Vitol and Trafigura to market Venezuelan oil following a US military operation and a supply agreement with interim President Delcy Rodriguez.
