$SBICARD added 181,851 new credit cards in May, the highest among major issuers, taking its total cards in force to nearly 22.42 million. Total industry cards rose to 120.45 million. Credit card spending rose 2.54% month-on-month to Rs 2.02 trillion, with HDFC Bank's card spends leading the pack at a 1.77% increase.
