Sterling and Wilson Renewable Rs 985 crore new orders win

has secured new orders worth more than ₹985 crore, spanning a 534.3 MWp solar project in Rajasthan and two battery energy storage system (BESS) projects totalling 616 MWh in South Africa. The wins strengthen its solar EPC pipeline while increasing its exposure to the rapidly expanding global energy-storage market. The Rajasthan project involves a 534.3 MWp Balance of System (BOS) package for a leading Indian independent power producer. Importantly, this is a new customer for SWREL, expanding its domestic client base and demonstrating its ability to win projects beyond its existing customer relationships. The second order comprises two BESS projects in South Africa with a combined capacity of 616 MWh. The project has been awarded by a leading Middle East-based renewable-energy developer that is an existing customer of SWREL. The contract is structured as a turnkey EPC wrap and is described as the company's second-largest utility-scale BESS project to date.
