Hero MotoCorp vs TVS Motor — which is stronger?

TVS — stronger growth story TVS delivered ₹13,896 crore revenue in Q1 FY27, up 38%, with EBITDA up 41% to ₹1,779 crore and PAT up 51% to ₹1,174 crore. Two- and three-wheeler volumes increased 28%, while international sales grew 33%. EV two-wheeler sales jumped 86% to 1.30 lakh units. The momentum has continued into August. TVS sold 48,938 electric two-wheelers, almost double the previous year, giving it around 26.7% of India's electric 2W market for the month. 🟢 Hero — strong recovery + valuation advantage Hero's Q1 FY27 revenue increased 36% to ₹12,999 crore, while standalone PAT rose 29% to ₹1,454 crore. Volumes increased 23% to 16.77 lakh units and EBITDA rose 25%. Hero's VIDA EV business grew 151% YoY in Q1, while its premium Harley-Davidson business also grew strongly. However, August showed the difference between the two companies: Hero's total dispatches rose only 2.65% YoY, with motorcycles declining 1.5%, although scooters grew 42.8% and VIDA reached 25,558 units. Exports fell 24.6%
