AVANTEL
Avantel's Q1 FY27 performance demonstrates strong operational momentum, with revenue growth accelerating after a challenging FY26 where annual sales declined 10.8% to ₹222 crores. The June 2026 quarter's ₹70.42 crores in net sales represents a substantial recovery, surpassing all previous quarterly figures. On a sequential basis, revenue grew 10.32% from ₹63.83 crores in Q4 FY26, whilst the year-on-year comparison shows a robust 35.66% expansion from ₹51.91 crores in Q1 FY26. The revenue growth translated into improved profitability metrics. Operating profit before other income reached ₹17.43 crores, with the operating margin expanding 460 basis points year-on-year to 24.75%. This margin improvement, however, remains below the exceptional 45.33% achieved in December 2024, suggesting the company is still working towards optimal operational efficiency. Employee costs rose to ₹13.37 crores from ₹10.09 crores in the corresponding quarter last year, reflecting increased headcount or wage inflation as the business scales.
