BAJAJ-AUTO
On January 14, 2026, Bajaj Auto Limited informed stock exchanges about two press releases from its step-down subsidiary, Bajaj Mobility AG (formerly PIERER Mobility AG), regarding its ongoing restructuring and efficiency program. Bajaj Mobility AG reported a 46% revenue decline in 2025, with motorcycle sales dropping by 28% and e-bicycle/bicycle sales by 40%. The company successfully reduced inventory by over 100,000 motorcycles and implemented a global rightsizing program, cutting approximately 500 employees, primarily in white-collar roles and middle management, to streamline operations and reduce costs. Key restructuring steps included divesting the bicycle business, terminating CFMOTO distribution, and selling MV Agusta and X-Bow. Despite challenges, KTM achieved record motorsport successes with 29 championship titles in 2025, and inventory reductions in H2 2025 indicated strong customer and dealer confidence. Bajaj Auto International Holdings B.V., as the majority shareholder, supports KTM's global realignment to strengthen its position as a leading motorcycle manufacturer.
