GPT Infraprojects Bags ₹484 Crore Railway Order

GPT Infraprojects Limited has secured a railway infrastructure contract worth ₹483.72 crore, including GST, from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL). The project involves the construction of Important Bridge 544, a 32 × 65.84-metre open-web steel girder bridge over the Mahanadi River in Odisha. The bridge forms part of the development of the third and fourth railway lines between the Nergundi–Barang section in the Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway. The contract value excluding GST is ₹409.94 crore, and the project is scheduled to be completed within 1,095 days from the appointed date. Following this order, GPT Infraprojects' outstanding order book stands at approximately ₹4,992 crore, while total order inflows for FY2027 have reached ₹818 crore. The company had previously informed the exchanges on September 2, 2026, that it was the lowest bidder (L1) for the project. The latest announcement confirms the award of the contract.
