Larsen & Toubro to Build India’s Largest AI Data Centre with Nvidia B300 GPUs

$LT Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced today that it will set up India’s largest AI data centre factory at its Chennai campus in partnership with Nvidia, deploying 10,000 B300 GPUs. The order value is estimated between ₹10,000–₹15,000 crore ($1.05–$1.57 billion), making it one of the biggest AI infrastructure investments in India to date. The facility will cater to AI workloads, cloud services, and hyperscale computing, positioning India as a global hub for advanced AI infrastructure. L&T stated that this project aligns with its strategy to diversify beyond traditional engineering and construction into digital and technology services.
