LUPIN signs licensing and supply deal with Galenicum
Lupin Limited, a global pharmaceutical leader, announced a licensing and supply agreement through its subsidiary Lupin Atlantis Holdings SA with Galenicum Health for injectable Semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist used for Type 2 Diabetes and obesity management. Under the agreement, Galenicum will handle development, manufacturing, and supply, while Lupin will manage regulatory submissions, approvals, commercialization, and distribution across 23 countries, including Canada, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. This partnership strengthens Lupin’s position in diabetes care and obesity treatment, leveraging its global presence to expand access to Semaglutide. Both companies aim to address the growing demand for GLP-1 therapies and improve patient health outcomes worldwide.
