Shriram Finance Limited has been assigned a "Crisil AA+/Watch Positive" rating for its ₹80,000 crore Fixed Deposit Programme by CRISIL Ratings Limited, indicating strong creditworthiness with positive implications. The company’s long-term and short-term ratings were reaffirmed at "Crisil AA+/Watch Positive" and "Crisil A1+" respectively, reflecting its market leadership in the NBFC sector, robust capitalisation, healthy earnings profile, and improving asset quality. Shriram Finance’s assets under management (AUM) stood at ₹2,81,309 crore as of September 30, 2025, with a net profit of ₹4,474 crore in the first half of fiscal 2026. The company’s partnership with MUFG Bank Ltd for a ₹39,618 crore investment is expected to enhance its capitalisation and profitability. CRISIL Ratings will resolve the Rating Watch after the transaction is completed, which may lead to a potential rating upgrade.
