Shriram Finance Limited has received updated credit ratings from CRISIL Ratings Limited, which placed its long-term bank facilities and debt instruments on 'Rating Watch with Positive Implications' and reaffirmed its 'Crisil A1+' rating for short-term bank facilities and commercial papers. CRISIL also withdrew ratings for redeemed non-convertible debentures worth ₹2,769.5 crore and long-term principal-protected market-linked debentures worth ₹30 crore. The investment is expected to enhance Shriram Finance’s capitalisation, reduce borrowing costs, and improve profitability. CRISIL highlighted Shriram Finance’s market leadership in the NBFC sector, strong capitalisation, healthy earnings profile, improving asset quality, and diversified resource profile, while noting areas for improvement in asset quality and borrowing costs. The company reported assets under management (AUM) of ₹2,81,309 crore and a net profit of ₹4,474 crore for the first half of fiscal 2026.
