Jaguar Land Rover Automotive plc (JLR), a subsidiary of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited, reported a significant decline in wholesale and retail sales for Q3 FY26 due to a cyber incident that disrupted production until mid-November, along with global distribution delays, the planned wind-down of legacy Jaguar models, and incremental US tariffs. Wholesale volumes for the quarter were 59,200 units, down 43.3% year-on-year, while retail sales were 79,600 units, down 25.1% year-on-year. Sales decreased across all markets, with North America and Europe experiencing the largest drops. JLR’s Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, and Defender models accounted for 74.3% of total wholesale volumes. The company is focused on its Reimagine strategy to achieve carbon net zero by 2039, with plans for electrification across its brands, including fully electric Jaguar models by the end of the decade. Full financial results for Q3 FY26 will be released in February 2026.
