INFOSYS $INFY offers the opposite side of the IT-sector learning curve. The company reported Q1 FY27 consolidated net profit of approximately ₹7,769 crore, up 12% year-on-year, while revenue increased 14% to ₹48,211 crore. For beginners, the important question is not simply “Did profit rise?” but “Why did profit rise, and can the growth continue?” Investors should study digital services growth, large-deal wins, margins, guidance, employee costs and the impact of AI on traditional IT services. When evaluating technology stocks, recurring client relationships and the ability to convert AI disruption into new revenue opportunities may become increasingly important.
