BHEL : RECEIVES LNTP FROM DVC FOR 1x800 MW DURGAPUR THERMAL PROJECT ⚡️🏭 • 🏗️ BHEL has received a Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), Kolkata for the 1x800 MW Durgapur Supercritical Thermal Power Station project • ⚙️ BHEL emerged as the successful bidder for the Main Plant Package (Boiler, Turbine & Generator) of the project • 📦 LNTP allows BHEL to begin advance engineering and procurement of critical long-lead items for the project • 📅 The LNTP was issued on 10 June 2026, while the final supply and execution order is expected to be awarded after completion of the 10-month LNTP period • 💰 Size of the LNTP contract is over ₹90 crore (excluding GST) • 🇮🇳 Awarding entity is DVC, a domestic PSU, under an international competitive bidding process 🟢 Impact: Positive (Strengthens BHEL's thermal power order pipeline and improves visibility for a larger main plant package order in the future.)
