SJS: SUBSIDIARY WALTER PACK TO EXPAND MANUFACTURING CAPACITY; INVESTMENT OF ~₹49 CRORE

• Wholly owned subsidiary Walter Pack will set up a new Build-to-Suit manufacturing facility at Koregaon Bhima, Shirur, Pune. • The existing three plants at MIDC Ranjangaon will be consolidated into the new facility, improving operational efficiency. • The proposed facility will have a total built-up area of approximately 1,27,359 sq ft, representing a net capacity addition of 63,086 sq ft over the existing 64,273 sq ft. • Existing capacity utilisation stands at around 75%, while commercial operations at the new facility are expected to commence by May 2027. • The investment is estimated at around ₹49 crore, comprising approximately ₹15 crore for relocation/basic infrastructure and ₹34 crore towards the building lease/ROU. • The expansion will be funded through internal accruals and/or debt and is aimed at improving operational efficiency while creating headroom for future growth. Impact: Positive — The consolidation and net addition of 63,086 sq ft should improve operating efficiency and provide capacity headroom for future growth, although the ₹49 crore investment and debt component, if any, will need to be monitored.
