Jindal Power has won the bid for Bhadreshwar Vidyut and will acquire the company for ₹500 crore.

Jindal Power has successfully won the bid for Gujarat-based Bhadreshwar Vidyut, which is currently undergoing insolvency proceedings, according to the company's bankruptcy administrator. The Naveen Jindal-led private entity is set to acquire the thermal power operator for approximately ₹500 crore. Bhadreshwar Vidyut operates thermal power plants in the Kutch district of Gujarat, and the acquisition is expected to strengthen Jindal Power’s presence in the energy sector.
