NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC, has signed a joint venture agreement with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Ltd (Mahapreit) to develop renewable energy parks with a total capacity of up to 10 GW across Maharashtra. This partnership aims to boost clean energy adoption in the state and support India's green energy goals. In this partnership, NGEL holds a 74% equity stake, while MAHAPREIT owns the remaining 26%.
