Power Grid has increased its capital expenditure to ₹23,000 crore in response to rising electricity demand.

For FY26, the capital expenditure is projected to be in the range of ₹28,000-30,000 crore, an increase from the previously planned ₹20,000 crore. For FY27, the capex is set at ₹35,000 crore, up from the earlier estimate of ₹20,000 crore.
