Tata Motors initiates trials of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks for long-haul transport.

The trucks, featuring advanced Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engines and Fuel Cell technologies, are set to undergo extensive trials on India's major freight corridors. These tests will be conducted on some of the country's busiest transportation routes, including those around Mumbai, Pune, Delhi-NCR, Surat, Vadodara, Jamshedpur, and Kalinganagar. The initiative aims to evaluate the performance, efficiency, and feasibility of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks in real-world conditions, contributing to the development of sustainable and eco-friendly transportation solutions for long-haul logistics in India.
