Adani Wilmar Agri Business Q4: Strong Revenue Growth, Margins Remain Under Pressure

AWL
Adani Wilmar’s Agri Business segment reported robust revenue growth in Q4, with consolidated revenue rising sharply to ₹182 billion from ₹132.4 billion YoY, showcasing strong volume and value expansion. Net profit also improved to ₹1.9 billion from ₹1.58 billion YoY, although it was significantly lower compared to ₹4.1 billion reported QoQ, indicating some sequential softness. EBITDA grew to ₹4.5 billion from ₹3.57 billion YoY, but the EBITDA margin declined to 2.46% from 2.7%, reflecting continued margin pressures despite higher topline performance — a concern in a business heavily influenced by commodity price volatility. While the year-on-year growth trajectory is encouraging, the declining margin trend and sharp quarter-on-quarter profit dip could raise concerns about profitability sustainability in the near term. Investors may stay cautious, closely monitoring commodity price trends, inventory management, and the company's ability to pass on costs to consumers. Going ahead, margin recovery and improving operational efficiencies will be key for Adani Wilmar to convert its strong revenue growth into more durable and profitable earnings momentum
