Eicher Motors JV reports 18% growth in total sales in Aug 26

Eicher Motors and Volvo Group's joint venture (JV) company -- VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has posted 17.68% rise in total sales at 8,434 units (Inclusive of EVs) in August 2026 as compared to 7,167 units in the same month last year. Eicher branded trucks and buses recorded sales growth of 17.88% at 8,162 units in August 2026 as compared to 6,924 units in August 2025. Moreover, the total sales of Volvo Trucks & Buses witnessed an 11.93% increase, totalling 272 units in August 2026 as compared to 243 units in August 2025. Eicher Motors is an India-based company, which is engaged in manufacturing automobile products and related components. The company operates in business verticals, including motorcycles, commercial vehicles and personal utility vehicles.
