Maruti Suzuki reports 40% growth in total vehicle production in June

Maruti Suzuki India’s total vehicle production (Passenger Vehicles and Light Commercial Vehicles) has increased by 39.57% to 178,024 units in June 2026, compared with 127,545 units in June 2025. During the month, production in the Mini segment, comprising Alto and S-Presso, rose 51.02% to 10,718 units from 7,097 units in June 2025. Production in the Compact segment, comprising Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, WagonR, and OEM models, increased 38.52% to 76,835 units from 55,467 units in the corresponding month last year. Production of utility vehicles, including Brezza, Ertiga, e Vitara, Fronx, Jimny, Victoris, XL6, and OEM models, surged 42.75% to 76,626 units in June 2026 from 53,677 units in June 2025. Production of the Eeco van also increased 16.49% to 10,660 units from 9,151 units a year earlier. Meanwhile, production of the light commercial vehicle Super Carry increased 47.93% to 3,185 units in June 2026 from 2,153 units in the corresponding month last year. $MARUTI
