Union Bank of India has announced its Q4 FY25 results:
- Net Profit: ₹4,984 crore, up 51% year-over-year, driven by strong growth in net interest income, improved asset quality, and controlled operating expenses
- Total Income: ₹33,25,431 lakh for Q4 FY25, with interest earned rising to ₹27,69,522 lakh and other income increasing to ₹5,55,909 lakh
- Operating Profit: ₹7,70,015 lakh, up from ₹6,53,293 lakh in Q4 FY24
- Asset Quality: Gross non-performing asset (NPA) ratio declined to 4.76% from 7.53% year-over-year, and net NPA ratio fell to 0.63% from 1.03%
- Capital Adequacy Ratio: Improved to 18.02%, with Common Equity Tier 1 ratio at 14.98%
- Earnings Per Share (EPS): ₹23.56 for FY25, up from ₹18.95 in FY24
- Dividend: ₹4.75 per equity share, subject to statutory and shareholder approvals
