Welspun Enterprises’ arm secures two projects

Welspun Enterprises’ material subsidiary -- Welspun Michigan Engineers (WMEL) has secured two significant sewer rehabilitation projects aggregating to Rs 351.24 crore (including GST & excluding provisional sum) from Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). Both these projects are funded by World Bank. The company has received two Letters of Award (LoAs) for the said projects. The first LoA valued at Rs 229.48 crore, involves rehabilitation of the main trunk sewer line in from Gola Lake to 285 MLD TSPS, covering the stretch from Iskcon Char Rasta to 285 MLD TSPS. The second LoA valued at Rs 121.76 crore, involves rehabilitation of existing sewer lines across key stretches of Eastern Ahmedabad, including, Odhav 310 to Panjrapole Char Rasta to Nirant Cross Road to Mahadev Imperial; and Metro Pillar No. 99 to Nirant Char Rasta. These projects are to be executed within a period of 24 months from the commencement date. Order Book Surge: WMEL's order book rises from ~₹2,135 crore (as of June 2026) to approximately ₹2,432.66 crore, reflecting a net addition of ₹297.66 crore excluding GST and provisional sums View: The AMC sewer rehabilitation contracts expand on Welspun's existing specialized water portfolio, which includes large-scale municipal setups, complex wastewater treatment plants, and heavy-duty subterranean pipe installation networks.
