Airline Capacity Hit by Israel–Iran Conflict

Escalating Israel–Iran tensions have forced Indian airlines to cancel flights to the Middle East and many European routes due to closed airspaces. An HSBC report estimates capacity cuts of ~20% for Indigo, 32% for SpiceJet, and over 40% for Air India. Rising crude oil prices may further pressure airline profitability through higher jet fuel costs.
