Fairfax to Raise IIFL Capital Stake to 51% with Rs 2,000 Crore Investment

IIFL Capital Services shares gained up to 4% (at the time of postng this post) after Fairfax India announced a Rs 2,000 crore investment through a preferential allotment at Rs 350 per share. The deal will raise Fairfax India’s stake from 30.5% to 51%, strengthening IIFL Capital’s balance sheet and supporting future growth across financial services businesses.
