Gas Stocks Rally After Government Prioritises Domestic Supply

Gas-related stocks surged after the government invoked emergency powers to prioritise natural gas supply for PNG, CNG, and LPG sectors.

Adani Total Gas jumped nearly 20%, Gujarat Gas gained 6%, and Gujarat State Petronet rose about 5% (at the time of posting this post), while Indraprastha Gas, Mahanagar Gas, Petronet LNG and GAIL also traded higher.
