Institutional Activity and Market Trends

The institutional desk activity will be closely watched next week as FIIs remained net sellers, offloading ₹7,793 crore last week, totaling ₹36,977 crore for February. However, DIIs provided strong support, buying ₹16,582 crore last week and ₹42,601 crore in February. Experts believe FII inflows may resume only with economic and earnings revival. Meanwhile, the US dollar index fell 0.14% to 106.64, and the US 10-year Treasury yield dropped 1.05% to 4.431%, extending a six-week decline.
