Market Turmoil - Sensex & Nifty Plunge

Sensex and Nifty tumbled nearly 2% on February 28 due to widespread selling amid fears of a global trade war and a slowing U.S. economy. All 13 sectoral indices were in the red, with BSE Smallcap and Midcap indices sliding nearly 3%. IT and financial stocks, heavily held by foreign investors, led the declines.
