Mittal Plans Higher Bharti Telecom Control in Airtel

Sunil Bharti Mittal said the long-term goal is to raise Bharti Telecom’s stake in Bharti Airtel above 50%, while partner Singtel moves toward equalised ownership with Bharti family entities. Mittal reiterated the group’s strategy of holding Airtel through a single controlling promoter entity.
