NHPC Plans ₹2,000 Crore Securitization for Expansion

NHPC Ltd aims to raise ₹2,000 crore through asset securitization in FY26 to fund its hydropower and renewable energy expansion. While the assets for securitization are yet to be finalized, NHPC achieved its FY25 monetization target by securing ₹2,348.45 crore. This move aligns with India’s national monetization pipeline and the upcoming ₹10 lakh crore Asset Monetization Plan (2025-30).
