NHPC to Add 2,170 MW by FY26, Including Subansiri Project

NHPC, India’s largest hydropower producer, will commission 2,170 MW of hydro projects by FY26, including the long-delayed 2,000 MW Subansiri project in Arunachal Pradesh. With 7,233 MW of operational capacity, NHPC is tackling sector challenges through tailored solutions while advancing 9,314 MW under construction and planning new initiatives totaling 14,700 MW.
