Sensex, Nifty Fall Amid Crude Surge, West Asia Tensions

Benchmark indices declined on Tuesday as elevated crude oil prices and rising West Asia tensions weighed on sentiment. Sensex fell 0.5% to 77,333, while Nifty declined 0.38% to 24,190. Most sectoral indices fell, except pharma and Oil & Gas, while midcap and smallcap indices also slipped.
