Adani Enterprises Approves ₹25,000 Cr Rights Issue at 24% Discount; Record Date Nov 17
Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) on November 11 approved a rights issue of up to ₹25,000 crore via partly paid-up equity shares of Re 1 each, according to its exchange filing. The company will issue 13.85 crore rights equity shares for an aggregate amount of ₹24,930.3 crore at a rights price of ₹1,800 per share, representing a ~24% discount to the prevailing market price. The record date for entitlement has been set as November 17, 2025. The capital raise will help fund Adani’s infrastructure expansion, including airports, roads, and clean energy projects — marking its largest fundraise since the cancelled ₹20,000 crore FPO in 2023 following the Hindenburg episode. In Q2FY26, Adani Enterprises reported a net profit of ₹3,199 crore, up 84% YoY, aided by a one-time gain of ₹3,583 crore from the sale of a 13.51% stake in AWL Agri Business Ltd (formerly Adani Wilmar Ltd). However, adjusted profit (ex-one-time gain) declined 66.2% YoY to ₹814.35 crore, reflecting weakness in the coal trading division. 📊 Key Highlights: Issue Size: ₹24,930.3 crore Price: ₹1,800/share (24% discount) Record Date: November 17, 2025 Purpose: Infra & clean energy expansion Q2FY26 Net Profit: ₹3,199 crore (+84% YoY) Adjusted Profit: ₹814 crore (–66% YoY) #AdaniEnterprises #RightsIssue #AdaniGroup #Fundraising #Q2FY26Results #Infrastructure #CleanEnergy #CapitalMarkets #StockMarketIndia #CorporateUpdate #StockYardResearch #FPO #AdaniWilmar #EquityRaising
