Alchemy Capital’s AIF Acquires 0.78% Stake in Shilchar Technologies During Muhurat Trading; Promoter Offloads 1%
Alchemy Capital Management, through its Category III Alternative Investment Fund Alchemy Emerging Leaders of Tomorrow, acquired a 0.78 percent equity stake in Shilchar Technologies, a leading manufacturer of power and distribution transformers, during the Muhurat trading session on October 21. The fund purchased 90,000 shares at an average price of Rs 4,347.43 per share, amounting to Rs 39.1 crore, via open market transactions. Meanwhile, promoter Alay Jitendra Shah sold 1.17 lakh shares (1.02 percent stake) at Rs 4,350.26 per share, totalling Rs 50.89 crore. Following the transaction, promoters held 64.01 percent and public shareholders owned 35.99 percent in the company as of June 2025. Shares of Shilchar Technologies closed 1.77 percent higher at Rs 4,357.85 on Monday after a volatile session with significant volumes. The stock has been in a lower high–lower low structure since June this year.
