Apollo Micro Systems Rises on US Defence Pact for Rocket Motor Technology

Shares of Apollo Micro Systems Ltd gained for the third straight session, rising 9% over the period, after its step-down subsidiary announced a major defence technology agreement in the United States. Apollo Strategic Technologies Pvt Ltd (ASTPL), a subsidiary of Apollo Defence Industries Pvt Ltd (ADIPL), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dynamic Engineering and Design Inc, USA at the DSEI exhibition in London on September 10, 2025. The pact covers technology transfer, co-development, and potential licensed production of rocket motors for BM-21 Grad ER and non-ER rockets. Apollo said the deal will accelerate indigenisation of propulsion technologies for multi-barrel rocket systems, supporting the government’s Make in India defence initiative. The group has already developed an in-house 122mm rocket warhead and plans to begin trials soon, targeting full-scale production by mid-2026. The collaboration will enable integration of indigenous warheads with domestically produced rocket motors, positioning Apollo among the few private Indian firms to offer a fully in-house developed rocket system. The BM-21 Grad, one of the most widely used unguided rockets globally, will strengthen India’s participation in the international defence supply chain through this initiative. #ApolloMicroSystems #DefenceStocks #MakeInIndia #RocketSystems #StockMarket #Indigenisation #DSEI2025
