Ather Energy Unveils Rider Safety Upgrades with AtherStack 7.0 at Community Day 2025

Ather Energy on August 30 introduced a suite of advanced rider safety features under its new AtherStack 7.0 technology platform, announced during the company’s annual Ather Community Day 2025 in Bengaluru. The highlight of the rollout is Pothole Alerts, a feature that proactively warns riders about rough road patches or potholes and suggests alternate routes. Early demonstrations drew strong enthusiasm from users, who hailed it as a highly practical solution for Indian road conditions. Ather has already mapped pothole data in cities like Bengaluru and Pune, leveraging its dense rider network to create real-time road-condition maps. The system, powered by fleet intelligence from lakhs of Ather scooters, provides voice alerts to riders approaching hazardous stretches. Other key features include Crash Alerts, which distinguish between minor and severe accidents. In case of a serious crash, the scooter automatically notifies emergency contacts with the rider’s live location, while critical details are displayed on the dashboard for quick assistance.
