Sponsor Rapid Holdings 2 Pte, part of Brookfield Asset Management, sold a 25.39% stake (16.86 crore units worth Rs 1,382.7 crore) in Energy Infrastructure Trust on September 19. The units were picked up by 24 investors including IIFL Management Services, Ambit Wealth, Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance, Star Health, and 360 ONE. Energy Infrastructure Trust shares closed at Rs 82 on the BSE, down 0.4% with heavy volumes. Meanwhile, Vanguard Group bought over 2 crore units worth Rs 353.3 crore in IndiGrid Infrastructure Trust via open market deals at Rs 169.12 per unit. On the other hand, Larsen & Toubro (Rs 92.1 crore) and BNP Paribas Financial Markets (Rs 77.6 crore) exited part of their holdings.
